Registered as a society with EMO. Members receive training in basic SAR techniques from EMO. Some members have CPR and first aid training; others have cliff rescue and rappelling experience. Tasked by the RCMP. Resources include a 16-foot motor boat, electric generator, five portable 2-way radios, two portable repeaters, rope rescue kit, first aid, tents, and a library containing various SAR training manuals and videotapes. Founded 1992. Forty-eight volunteer members.
