SUBJECT: Compensation Standard Benefits Letters
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a status report on the compensation standard benefits letters.
Over the past several months, an extensive review has been performed on each and every letter. Based on comments received from
the different users across Canada, as well as our own knowledge of required amendments, letters have been revised to some extent.
Some of the more obvious changes are:
- Paragraph on the Pensioner's Dental Plan has been incorporated in the Medical Retirement, the Resignation (Indeterminate - 2
years PSSA - age 50+); the Lay-off (2 years PSSA - age 50+) and the Retirement letters
- A Maternity and/or Parental Leave Without Pay letter has been created for each individual collective agreement
- Maternity and a Parental Undertakings have been created for each individual collective agreement.
