SUBJECT: Safety Footwear Allowance for 2002
The protective footwear allowance for the 2002 calendar year has been adjusted from $44.31 to $44.18 (all taxes included).
This figure was arrived at by applying the revised procedure approved by the National Joint Council whereby the existing
allowance is adjusted by the year-to-year change in the Clothing and Footwear Component of the Consumer Price Index.
