The awards recognize innovation and excellence in the structuring and delivery of public-private partnerships, an area in which B.C. is a leader across North America.
BEIJING – Students from B.C. and China will have more opportunities for their degrees, diplomas and certificates to be recognized in each other’s homelands under an agreement signed by Premier Gordon Campbell and Chinese Minister of Education Zhou Ji.
GAMING GRANT TO SUPPORT B.C. ATHLETIC TEAM DOWN UNDER
BURNABY – With the support of a $300,000 community gaming grant, a team made up of police, firefighters and other law enforcement and emergency responders will travel to Australia next year to compete in a variety of sports at the 12th World Police and Fire Games, Solicitor General John Les and Burquitlam MLA Harry Bloy said.
