One of the new provisions of the new PCPA is the requirement for registrants, as a condition of registration, to report information on adverse effects of each of their registered pesticides in accordance with regulations.
The proposed Pest Control Products Adverse Effects Reporting
Regulations and accompanying Regulatory Impact Analysis Statement
were pre-published on October 23, 2004 in Canada Gazette,
Part I . This proposed regulation would specify in detail what information
to report and when to report it. In developing the proposed
regulation, comments received on the May 2003 Discussion Document,
