ICC elects new Vice-Chairman
The International Chamber of Commerce today elected Hong Kong businessman Victor Fung as its new Vice-Chairman. Mr Fung was voted in by the ICC World Council, which brought together more than 100 of its business members from some 44 countries for a meeting in India this week. |

India’s Commerce Secretary optimistic on Doha trade talks
In an address to ICC’s World Council in New Delhi today, the Indian Commerce Secretary, Gopal K. Pillai, said he believed the Doha round of trade negotiations could be brought to a successful conclusion by March 2007 and that India would play a positive role in re-starting the talks. |

ICC Chairman, Indian trade minister promote Doha round
ICC Chairman Marcus Wallenberg met with Indian Minister for Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath today in New Delhi to stress the importance of re-starting the Doha trade round which has been suspended since July and bringing the talks to a successful conclusion. |
