The Federal, Provincial, Territorial Committee on Pest Management and Pesticides was established to help strengthen federal/provincial/territorial relationships in the area of pest management and pesticides. The Committee also provides advice and direction to federal/provincial/territorial governments on programs, policies and issues.

A number of Working Groups report to the Committee. They study an issue and make recommendations to the Committee. Working Groups comprise of stakeholder representation, which can include other government departments, environmental interest groups, industry and user associations.

This section serves as a forum service for the FPT Committee to facilitate information exchange and linkages.
