Organic Co-operative wins Merit Award
Farmer Direct Co-operative Ltd. of Regina, established in 2002 to market certified organic grains, received a Saskatchewan Co-operative Merit Award earlier this week.

"New STEP" Improves Services to Members
Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP) is restructuring to better serve existing members and attract new members. STEP President and CEO Dale Botting says the move is about strengthening existing services and expanding the slate of services that STEP provides to its more than 254 exporting members and 122 companies who service exporters.

STEP is currently working through the National Quality Institute’s (NQI’s) Progressive Excellence Program (PEP). To date, STEP has achieved Level 1, 2 and 3 Certification. For more on STEP's objectives in pursuing quality
