Our Goal

The goal of the Canada-Yukon Business Service Centre is to provide business people with access to accurate, timely and relevant information and referrals.

What We Do

Each Canada Business Service Centre offers a combination of products and services, tailored to meet the needs of its distinctive client base, to ensure clients get accurate and comprehensive business information.

We help entrepreneurs get answers on:

  • Starting A Business
  • Developing A Business Plan
  • Marketing Strategies
  • Trade and Export Requirements
  • Financing A Business
  • Locating Suppliers
  • Tax and Regulatory Matters
  • Government Information

Services are available by telephone, fax, mail, e-mail, on the Web, and in person.

A Network of Cooperation

The Canada Business Service Centres initiative is a cooperative arrangement among 36 federal business departments, provincial, territorial governments and, in some cases, the private sector, associations, academic and research communities.

Currently, there are thirteen Canada Business Service Centres - one in every province, the Northwest Territories, the Yukon and Nunavut, Canada's newest territory. The Canada Business Service Centres also have a growing network of partners providing access to Canada Business Service Centre information in communities across Canada.

A National Secretariat, located in Ottawa, is responsible for supporting the Canada Business Service Centres and maintaining the technical network, information databases and products.
