Partners

There are over 80 public and private partners involved in the Canada / Newfoundland and Labrador Business Service Centre and Network.

On-Site Partners - 90 O’Leary Avenue
The Business Service Centres have teamed up with a number of government, non-government and private sector organizations in order to better serve their clients. This extensive network provides clients with a comprehensive range of services all under one roof.

In Newfoundland and Labrador, the Business Service Centre offices are co-located with the following on-site partners:

Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency  (Managing Partner)
The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) is a federal government agency. Headquartered in the region, ACOA's goal is to improve the economy of Atlantic Canadian communities, through the successful development of business and job opportunities.

Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development  (Managing Partner)
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is represented in the Business Service Network by the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development.  The mandate of the Department is to foster and promote economic development by encouraging investment, promoting strategic opportunities, and maximizing business and employment growth in all regions of the province.

Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (Newfoundland and Labrador Division)
The Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (Newfoundland and Labrador Division) is a national, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the interests of Canadian manufacturers and exporters.

Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association (NEIA)
NEIA is a non-profit organization incorporated to promote ethical behaviour and high standards for companies that provide environmental products and services. It promotes the growth and development of the environmental industry in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Export Development Canada (EDC)
EDC is a Canadian financial institution devoted exclusively to providing trade finance services to support Canadian exporters and investors in some 200 markets, 130 of which are in developing markets.

Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador
The Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (ADIANL) facilitates the development of business opportunities in the Aerospace and Defence sector and acts as a common forum for all Newfoundland and Labrador aerospace and defence related companies, agencies and other interested stakeholders.

Network Partners

National Network Partners
The Canada/Newfoundland and Labrador Business Service Centre/Network are also part of a national network of Canada Business  service centres with a location in a major centre, usually the provincial capital, in each province and territory. This country-wide initiative is coordinated by a
Canada Business Secretariat which reports to an Assistant Deputy Minister's committee of managing partners from Industry Canada, Western Diversification, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and Canadian Economic Development
