Farm Credit Canada

F arm Credit Canada (FCC) is a federal Crown corporation. The corporation reports to Parliament through the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food. Established in 1959, FCC is Canada's largest provider of business and financial answers to agriculture; it serves clients through both good times and bad.

FCC's loan portfolio includes more than 45 000 clients and is valued at $10 billion. A staff of about 1 000 serves clients from 100 offices in communities across Canada. FCC's Corporate Office is in Regina, Saskatchewan.

FCC is governed by a Board of Directors who draw on a large agricultural experience and business expertise to provide sound guidance. The Board has 12 Directors who represent Canada from coast to coast.

FCC works closely with Canadian producers and agribusiness operators to create financing answers for each stage of their business life cycle. FCC offers many flexible products and services. Clients include primary producers and farm-related agribusinesses and food producers. FCC also delivers joint programs and services with government agencies and other financial institutions.
