Toward Energy Efficient Refrigeration - Industrial Research and Development Opportunities to the year 2000
Abstract |
It is estimated that roughly one-tenth of Canada's overall consumption of energy is for refrigeration; for domestic refrigerators, supermarkets, transport, air conditioning and heat pumps, food processing and storage, chemicals manufacture, recreational activities, medical applications and other purposes. The present study is concerned with the needs for research and development, including field trials, for energy efficiency in practically all areas of refrigeration, with a view to anticipated changes to the year 2010. Contains lists of R&D projects and contact lists.
