Title
  Copy Right! - Teacher's Guide
Abstract More and more information is being produced and disseminated. More books are being written. More videos, audiotapes, CD-ROMs, on-line information, and so on are going produced. This information explosion raises three issues relating to copyright: (a) the appropriate scope of copyright protection; (b) the need to respect the rights of copyright owners; and (c) the need for access to works protected by copyright by those who wish to enjoy the creations of others.
These realities led to the forming of this educational binder where there was a need for an initiative to promote increased understanding of copyright, of the importance of respecting the rights of creators and copyright owners and the needs of users to access the creations of others.
This binder is divided into three sections of which they are:
  • Section One: Introduction
  • Section Two: Background for Teachers and Glossary
  • Section Three: Lessons: suggestions for instructional activities
  • Evaluation Form
Also included within this binder is a video of the above contents.
