Summary
The Saskatchewan Workers´ Compensation Board (WCB) administers a compulsory, employer funded, no fault collective liability system. Workers receive compensation for wages lost, for medical expenses and for rehabilitation services that are required after a workplace injury occurs. The injured party loses the right to sue his/her respective employer for the injuries caused. Incentives to hire injured workers can include subsidies for work assessment, on the job training and workplace modifications.
The SWCB offers several publications that are available to all interested parties.
