Access Nova Scotia

Access Nova Scotia (ANS ) is a provincial government initiative through Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations designed to improve your access to government information, programs and services. Access Centres provide information on provincial permits, approvals and licenses for business and limited services of the Registry of Joint Stock Companies. Many Access Centres have free computer access and a wide-range of business-related materials in a variety of formats - print, video, CD-Rom and computer disk. Enterprise Development Centre - St. Francis Xavier University

The Enterprise Development Centre is one of five University Business Development Centres in the province. Its mandate is to promote entrepreneurial development in Antigonish, Pictou, and Guysborough Counties. They provide counselling and support to new entrepreneurs and existing business owners. This is done by individual counseling sessions, the Ideas and Entrepreneurship course, and networking entrepreneurs with the resources of the community.
