LATEST NEWS! The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce has tabled its Tenth report entitled “Passports and PASS Cards, Identity and Citizenship: Implementing the WHTI”. The Committee identifies the negative consequences experienced in Canada since the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) was first announced 18 months ago in April 2005 as a result of uncertainty about the travel documentation required to enter and re-enter the United States and the timelines for WHTI implementation. |
