Fundamentals 1: Overview of Materiel Management (M705)

This course will provide you with an overview of the materiel management functions and how they interrelate with procurement and real property functions.

This course is recognized by the Professional Development and Certification Program for the Procurement, Materiel Management and Real Property community.

The content of this course includes:

  • policy framework for materiel management,
  • receipt and storage of goods,
  • control and maintenance, and
  • transportation and disposal.

Course Duration : 1 day

Cost : This course is provided free of charge to learners eligible under the Directive on the Administration of Required Training.

Cost for non-eligible learners: $450

Typical participants

Procurement and real property specialists who need a basic understanding of the materiel management functions and public service employees involved in this function.

Prerequisites

Completion of an introductory course in procurement or in real property or several years direct experience in the procurement or real property functions.

Cancellation policy for Fundamentals 1: Overview of Materiel Management  (M705)

Once registered, you can withdraw from a course without penalty, provided you fax or e-mail the School a cancellation notice at least 14 calendar days before the course start date.

Replacement Option

A replacement is accepted provided you fax or e-mail a replacement notice at least 1 calendar day before the course start date.
