Living Leadership - The Executive Excellence Program

Context

Living Leadership is an executive leadership development program designed for Public Service executives at the EX-01 to EX-03 or equivalent levels. Firmly grounded within the Public Service context, Living Leadership’s Action Learning approach and cutting-edge methodology provides a synergistic learning environment that draws equally upon the classroom and the workplace.

The underlying philosophy of the program – that learning and development are best achieved through exploration of, and reflection upon, real-life experiences – is demonstrated through the innovative Live Case and Personal Stretch Project.

Public service issues are addressed in real time with the expectation that participants will deliver real results. Participants learn first-hand about the practical application of leadership while developing and applying the leadership skills that address the challenges facing their own organizations and the Public Service at large.

Contrary to the notion that leaders are born, Living Leadership approaches leadership as a way of being that can be learned and developed. Living Leadership is not about teaching the tips and tricks of management, it’s about developing the most powerful leadership tool people possess: themselves.
