New Approaches to Teaching and Learning
We develop learning materials and training tools and we publish course materials in French and English as a second-language. Our applied research priorities are:
- diversification of traditional learning
- exploitation of information and communication technologies
- customized learning
- integration of language training and professional development
Diversification of Traditional Learning
Our research and development staff is reviewing modes of learning in order to provide efficient solutions to time, money and distance constraints. Our goal is to make training accessible, practical and efficient. In order to do this, we elaborate a variety of pedagogical material, we adapt our methods, programs and learning tools and we diversify our training modes.
Exploitation of Information and Communication Technologies
We are making extensive use of the resources of the computer-based learning
environment, and also use a range of technologies to develop learning
and evaluation tools and modules to which we integrate the management
of learning.
Customized Learning
We have developed and adapted customized advanced programs for different job categories which combine language learning with administrative, technical and professional development. We adapt our materials for people with learning disabilities or handicaps.
