The Centre serves Canadians that have the ideas, but are unfamiliar with manufacturing, the marketplace and business requirements, including determining why or if their idea will be successful.

Summary

The CIC is an independent, non-profit corporation. It has more than 30 years experience in assessing over 20 000 inventions.

Assistance Provided
The Centre's services are primarily educational and consultative, and serve inventors, small and large companies, innovation partners and investors alike. Ideas are evaluated and advice is provided on technical impact, market dynamics, business propositions and the steps required to launch, position and market a product.
