This report presents an overview of the results of Enhanced Surveillance of Canadian Street Youth, a comprehensive survey of 297 street youth from seven Canadian urban centres from 1998 to 2003. The report discusses the goals and objectives of the study, and presents key findings of such topics as socio-demographics characteristics, life on the street, sexual and drug use behaviours, abuse, and interaction with social and correctional services.
