Community Profiles

  • Statistics Canada 2001 Community Profiles Government of Canada site
    These profiles contain free information for all Canadian communities (cities, towns, villages, Indian reserves and Indian settlements, etc.), counties or their equivalents and for metropolitan areas.

  • Ontario Census Data
    Pyramid graphs using Statistics Canada's 1996 and 2001 Census data, by age and sex, for Ontario's Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs), Census Divisions (CDs), Census Agglomeration (CAs), and Census Subdivisions (CSDs).

  • Ontario Investment Service - Community Profiles World Wide Web site

  • Quality of Life in Ontario World Wide Web site
    The purpose of the Quality of Life Index (QLI) is to provide a tool for community development which can be used to monitor key indicators that encompass the social, health, environmental and economic dimensions of the quality of life.
