The indispensable reference work for all "Federal Court Reports" subscribers and law libraries. This hardcover publication is produced every four years. The "Consolidated Index" is comprised of some 870 captions (many reported judgements have more than one caption) for the 414 reasons for judgement and order reported in full text (or in the abridged format) in the 1993 to 1996 Volumes of the Court's official law reports series. A "caption" is the key-word portion of the headnotes which are prepared by the Legal Editors of the Federal Court Reports. In addition, there is a useful "Table of Cases" which sets out the case names, year, volume, and page where reported as well as the page in the "Consolidated Index" where the caption is produced.
