This October, it's predicted that there will be 22,000 motor vehicle crashes in British Columbia, with about 6,000 B.C. residents being injured in these crashes. These numbers are unacceptable, especially since most crashes are preventable.
Zero Crash Month is our opportunity to help make our roads safer and win some great prizes.
Take the Zero Crash Month challenge to drive, cycle or walk safely during the month of October and you'll be eligible to win:
Plus, communities that have the highest crash reduction below their predicted number of crashes will receive road safety grants ranging from $5,000 to $35,000.
To enter to win, go to www.zerocrashmonth.com, participating Pontiac dealerships or Renshaw Travel, and make the commitment to drive safely. For more details on Zero Crash Month, read the news release (PDF 17kb).
