CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL ADVISORS

THE CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF FINANCIAL PLANNERS

Notice is hereby given that a petition will be presented to the Parliament of Canada at the present session thereof, or at either of the two sessions immediately following the present session, jointly by:

    (a) Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, a corporation duly incorporated by private Act of the Parliament of Canada, chapter 104 of the Statutes of Canada, 1924, as amended, and having its head office in the City of Toronto, in the Province of Ontario, and

    (b) The Canadian Association of Financial Planners, a corporation duly incorporated on December 24, 1982 by letters patent under the Canada Corporations Act and having its head office in the City of Toronto, in the Province of Ontario,

for a private Act authorizing the petitioners to amalgamate and continue in existence as one corporation under the name The Financial Advisors Association of Canada or such other name as is acceptable to the Parliament of Canada.
