Labour Program District Operation Ontario

There are 3 District offices in Ontario responsible for the administration of Labour Standards and Occupational Health and Safety legislations. The offices are staffed by District Managers, Labour Affairs Officers and support staff personnel: Toronto, Ottawa North East and Southwestern districts.

Our hours of service are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Office Locations


Toronto District Office:
Toronto District encompasses the area of south central Ontario bounded on the west by Winston Churchill Blvd. in Mississauga north to Highway 24, and Highway 24 up to Georgian Bay. The district extends north to the county lines of Parry Sound and Nipissing and east to the county line of Hastings. The southern boundary is Lake Ontario.

Ottawa North East District Office:
All of Eastern Ontario from the Quebec border to the western boundaries of Hastings and Renfrew Counties. There are also sub-offices in Kingston and Thunder Bay.

Southwestern District Office:
The South Western district includes all of Southwestern Ontario from Windsor to the Niagara Peninsula and Mississauga at Winston Churchill Blvd. In Mississauga, the eastern boundary is on the line comprised of Winston Churchill Blvd. north to Highway 24, and Highway 24 north to Georgian Bay.
