Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG)/Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) Promoters Page

This page is intended for the use of RESP promoters and provides both historical and current information that will be of interest to you. Reference information in this section includes important CESG program publications, notices, bulletins, and training materials.

Mission

Our mission is to encourage Canadians to save for the post-secondary education of children through Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs).

Vision

"We will deliver the highest quality program to Canadians in collaboration with our partners"

The Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG) program underscores government recognition that post secondary education is a national priority, and that learning through full and part-time study, and in a variety of settings, such as, universities, community colleges, vocational and technical institutes, and CEGEPs is vital in providing all Canadian children with an equal opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of an evolving workforce and a changing economy.

Our goal is to increase Canadians' awareness of the importance of contributing to an RESP for their children's education, and to encourage greater participation of all Canadians to the program.
