Benefits Paid Outside Canada to Countries with which Canada has concluded a Social Security Agreement

The tables in this booklet give data on Canadian benefits paid to residents of countries with which Canada had social security agreements in force on December 31, 2005. Benefits include those under the Old Age Security Program and the Canada Pension Plan.

These tables give data on Canadian benefits paid to residents of the other country. In order to give a complete picture, these tables show separately data on benefits in pay as a result of the social security agreement and those in pay without application of the agreement.

This statistical booklet is distributed free of charge to all organizations and individuals interested in the field of social security. The statistical tables presented in this booklet are obtained from computer programs developed in cooperation with Public Works and Government Services Canada and from Social Development Sector Programs beneficiary files of Social Development Canada.
