Canada Pension Plan Benefit Rates

This publication is produced annually. It contains a historical series of tables used as a guide when calculating Canada Pension Plan contributions and benefits. These tables include maximum monthly rates, calculation factors for the first year of a pension and contributions, consumer price index, pension index and escalation factors.

This publication is distributed free of charge to all organizations and individuals interested in the field of social security. The statistical tables are obtained from computer programs developed in cooperation with Public Works and Government Services Canada and from Income Security Programs beneficiary files of Social Development Canada.
