CHAPTER 15

FISHING BENEFITS

15.4.0    MAXIMUM NUMBER OF WEEKS OF BENEFITS

Any claimant who qualifies for summer or winter fishing benefits may receive 26 weeks of benefits within the fixed benefit period. These weeks may be received consecutively, or intermittently, but are limited by the fixed starting and ending dates of the benefit period1.

There is no increase in the number of weeks payable for any reason except for the payment of special benefits2.
