Aboriginal Youth NetworkWorld Wide Web site
The Aboriginal Youth Network, an Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) funded project housed at the Nechi Institute in St. Albert, Alberta, is the most popular Aboriginal youth web site in Canada. It recorded 9.2 million hits in 2001. During the first quarter of 2002, AYN received 3.4 million hits - an increase in about 47% over the same quarter in 2001. The AYN was founded in 1995 and is Canada's longest operating web site for Aboriginal youth. AYN has received several awards including Pick of the Week by Yahoo.com and was a finalist for the Best Philanthropic Solution award by the Microsoft Foundation in 1997.

Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND)Government of Canada site
