BUILD FOR THE FUTURE!

Interested in an internship in Canada or abroad in your specific field of study? YCW Internships are an enriching experience on all counts. Choose between an internship abroad focused on building your linguistic capabilities, or an internship in Canada or abroad entirely dedicated to heritage. Approximately 75 internships are available! YCW at Building Careers in English and French

Objective:
Develop your knowledge of English and French while gaining valuable work-related skills and experience abroad.

Description:
The project sites vary greatly and can include, among others, language schools, educational institutions, translation firms, visual or performing arts companies, film and video production companies, cultural organizations, heritage institutions and communication firms. You could be translating a book, developing communication tools or even promoting a theatre troupe.

Number of positions:
up to 15

Duration:
6 to 12 months

You are eligible if you:

  • are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have been granted refugee status in Canada;

  • are legally entitled to work in Canada;

  • are 30 years of age or less at the start of your employment;

  • are an unemployed or underemployed college or university graduate.
 
 

YCW at Building Careers in Heritage

Objective:
Build advanced skills while gaining on-the-job experience within the arts, culture, and heritage sectors, domestically and internationally.

Description:
Some of the project sites include museums, archives, libraries, arts organizations, educational institutions and multimedia companies. You could be designing a virtual exhibition, marketing a museum or cataloguing a collection. These are but a few examples of the opportunities available to you!

Number of positions:
up to 60

Duration:
4 to 12 months

You are eligible if you:

  • are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have been granted refugee status in Canada;

  • are legally entitled to work in Canada;

  • are 30 years of age or less at the start of your employment;

  • are an unemployed or underemployed college or university graduate.
