The Labour Standards Call Centre

“Am I entitled to know my work schedule ahead of time?”

“What are the public holidays in Saskatchewan?”

“When do I need to start paying overtime?”

Each year, the Labour Standards Call Centre receives about 65,000 inquiries from workers and employers in Saskatchewan.

The Labour Standards Act sets out the basic rules for work for most people in Saskatchewan.

Call Centre staff can:

·       provide information to workers and employers about their rights and responsibilities at work

·       assist people who are trying to achieve fairness in their workplace

·       provide explanations of labour standards rules

If you have questions about workplace rules, rights and responsibilities, phone the Labour Standards Call Centre (toll-free) at:
