SaskJobs is one of the many great features of the Web site SaskNetWork.  Employers and workers can use it to post and search resumes, or post and search for jobs.

Summary

How do I register?
If you are an employer using SaskJobs for the first time, contact Canada-Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services (CSCES) and ask to register your business.  All you need is your official business name, address, postal code, a contact person, and phone number.  There is no cost.

Why do I have to register?
Registering your business ensures that the jobs posted are from authentic employers and provides some critical information to be used in posting jobs.  These employers will receive a login name and password that they will use to post jobs using the Internet.

How do I post a job?
There are three ways for an employer to post a job:

  • Contact CSCES office:  Staff will help you post a job on SaskJobs.
  • By Mail/Fax:  Employers can complete a job order form and return it to the nearest CSCES office.
  • Online:  A registered employer can post a job opportunity directly on SaskJobs by following the steps below:
  1. Go to the SaskNetWork web site at http://www.sasknetwork.ca
  2. Click on SaskJobs (left menu bar)
  3. Click on Job Posting for Employers
  4. Enter your login name and password
  5. Click on the login button
  6. Your business Job Posting account will appear
  7. Now you can view existing or previously posted jobs, remove your job postings, or insert a new job order.

There is also an Interactive Voice Response System which is an electronic voice that tells you all the jobs that are listed on SaskJobs.  You can listen to the jobs by calling any of the following seven CSCES centres:  Melfort, Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon or Yorkton.

How do I search for an employee?
Employers can search for prospective employees by using the Resume Search for Employers feature.  SaskJobs lets you enter keywords for the type of skills you are seeking and it will search the resume databank for you.

What do I do if I have trouble?
If you need help using SaskJobs, contact your nearest CSCES office.  For a complete list of offices in Saskatchewan see the document Canada-Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services or call the toll free number shown below.  If you forget your login name or password, contact the Web site administrator at sasknetwork@sasked.gov.sk.ca and it will be e-mailed to you.
