The following provides an explanation of the terms used in this report.

Code Definition
MEAN The mean is the average rate of pay for an occupation, for the employee type indicated.
MIN The minimum pay rate for an occupation, for the employee type indicated.
MAX The maximum pay rate for an occupation, for the employee type indicated.
COUNT Sample size. That is the number of employers who reported wages for one or more employees in the occupation.
CV Coefficient of Variation, statistical measure of pay rate variability.

A - Very Good
B - Good
C - Good to Poor - use with caution
Starting, no experience This is the starting wage paid to individuals who have no previous experience in the occupation.
Starting, with experience This is the starting wage paid to individuals who have 6 months or more previous work experience.
Most Frequently Paid This is the wage rate paid most often to individuals who work in the occupation.
