You have placed trust in our government and we have worked hard to live up to that trust. Our government has made considerable progress, reducing the tax burden for individuals, families and businesses, lowering the national debt and controlling government spending. But in this period of global economic uncertainty we must continue to manage the economy responsibly and prudently.
