The Population, Work, and Family Policy Research Collaboration
The Population, Work and Family Policy Research Collaboration (PWFC), in operation since March 2005, is a joint initiative of the federal government and the academic research community. The sponsoring groups include the Policy Research Initiative (PRI), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), Human Resources and Social Development Canada, Statistics Canada and the following three SSHRC Clusters: the Canadian Labour Market and Skills Research Network, the Population Change and Public Policy Research Cluster and the Lifecourse Cluster.
