Draft Environmental Assessment Guidelines
Deloro Mine Site

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) invites public comment on the draft environmental assessment guidelines (scope document) for the proposed remediation of the Deloro Mine Site, located near the former Village of Deloro. This environmental assessment will be conducted pursuant to the requirements of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.

The public comment period on the draft guidelines closes on June 6, 2003.

Staff from CNSC will review and address all comments prior to the environmental assessment guidelines being finalized and submitted by CNSC staff to the Commission for decision. All comments received regarding the guidelines are public information.
