REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
Draft Environmental Assessment Guidelines
Pickering Waste Management Facility, Phase II
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) invites public comment on the draft environmental assessment guidelines for the proposed construction and operation of an extension to the existing used fuel processing and storage facility at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station site in Pickering, Ontario. The environmental assessment will be conducted pursuant to the requirements of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.
The public comment period on the draft environmental assessment guidelines has been extended to December 18, 2002.
