Environmental Assessment Guidelines - Production Increase: McArthur River
Mine and Key Lake Mill
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) invites public comment on the
Environmental Assessment (EA) Guidelines concerning the Environmental Assessment
of the Production Increase for Cameco Corporation’s McArthur River mine and the
Key Lake mill. This environmental assessment is being conducted pursuant to the
requirements of the Canadian
Environmental Assessment Act.
The public comment period ends on July 9, 2004.
Interested parties should address their written comments to the CNSC
environmental assessment project manager at the address indicated below. CNSC
staff will review and address all comments received before submitting EA
Guidelines to the Commission for approval. All comments received regarding the
EA Guidelines will be public information.
