Draft Scoping Document (Environmental Assessment Guidelines)
Ontario Power Generation - Proposal to construct and operate a Deep Geologic
Repository for disposal of low and intermediate level radioactive wastes
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) invites public comment on the
draft scoping document (environmental assessment guidelines) for the environmental
assessment regarding Ontario Power Generation’s proposal to build and
operate a Deep Geologic Repository for the long-term management of low and
intermediate-level radioactive waste within the Bruce Nuclear site in Kincardine.
The public comment period on the draft scope document closes on July
17, 2006.
