Visit the CourtLibrary – Room ALocated on the third floor directly above the Grand Hall, the Library's main reading room was restored in 1995 to its original design by Ernest Cormier. The birch-panelled walls were carefully refurbished and modern lighting was added. The heritage furnishings are all made of oak. The Library's comprehensive collection consists of approximately 200,000 volumes comprising an extensive collection of common, civil and international law materials. The main reading room houses the Canadian primary collection.
