Regulatory Documents
Acts, regulations, licences and directives administered by the CNSC establish nuclear regulatory requirements. The CNSC provides instruction, assistance and information on these requirements, in the form of Regulatory Documents.
Four different types of Regulatory Documents have
been developed by the CNSC. For more information on specific documents, please
refer to:
Regulatory Document Framework
The regulatory document framework supports the regulatory activities at the
CNSC. It is a matrix of service lines and safety areas. The matrix is presented
in three development statuses. The status of each document is typically either:
- "Current", which means it has been
approved and published; (PDF)
- "In Progress", which identifies
it as being under development; and
(PDF)
- "Future Work", which represents
documents that have been recommended by the Regulatory Documents Steering
Committee (RDSC) for development during the next fiscal year.
