HealthForceOntario is the government of Ontario's strategy to ensure that Canada's largest province has the right supply and mix of health care professionals, not just for today, but into the future.

Through HealthForceOntario, the government is supporting the development of mentorship, preceptorship, leadership and coaching programs that will help health professionals better work together and learn from each other.

HealthForceOntario is :

  • Creating and expanding health care roles in high-need areas
  • Reaching out to health care professionals at home and around the world, and offering on-line marketing and recruitment tools, including an upcoming job portal – HFOJobs
  • Developing Ontario's health care workforce by establishing a centre for internationally educated health care professionals to obtain the information and guidance they need to work in Ontario.

The HealthForceOntario website is currently under construction.
