Losing a Wallet

Have you lost your wallet? There are steps you can take to protect yourself:

  • contact your local police to let them know it is missing.
  • contact your financial institutions and credit card companies so they can cancel your cards.
  • contact government offices to report your lost government identification and cards.
  • visit the "Certificates, Licences and Other Cards" section for information on the following cards:
    - Credit Card Companies
    - Ontario Birth Certificate
    - Ontario Health Card
    - Social Insurance Number
    - Ontario Driver's Licence
    - Canadian Passport
    - Status Card
    - Canadian Citizenship Certificate
    - Immigration Record of Landing
    - Permanent Resident Card
    - Bring your ID card
    - Outdoors Card
    - OAS (Senior's Card)
    - Firearms Licence / Firearms Acquisition Certificate
    - Pleasure Craft Operator Card
