Acadians in Nova Scotia

Compagnie franche de la Marine
The Compagnie franche de la Marine is a reconstitution of a company of French marines dispatched to America in the 17th century. The Department of National Defence, through the Naval Reserve, sponsors demonstrations of military manoeuvres at Place Royal, Dufferin Terrace and Place de Paris in Quebec City. Demonstrations are held every year between June and August.

Chambly Militia

National Battlefields Park
Unic in America, the National Battlefields Park, better known as the Plains of Abraham, was created in 1908.
