From meeting with the first inhabitants to the end of French rule, the story of a dynamic, strong society unfolds. By their innovation, men and women adapted to a social, physical and material environment different from that of France.
The Virtual Museum of New France realizes this human contribution and its influence on the expansion of the territory as well as on the traditions, customs, culture and institutions which that transposed, borrowed or made their appearance in New France.
The Virtual Museum of New France and its partners have identified the main research themes around which the conception of the activities they propose will revolve: the first inhabitants, exploration, the environment and climate, population, culture and traditions and everyday life.
