Canadian War Museum presents Media and the Man, Second World War propaganda films from the NFB collection Ottawa, Ontario, November 17, 2005 — On November 24, as part of public programming for the special exhibition Weapons of Mass Dissemination: The Propaganda of War, the Canadian War Museum will present a selection of the National Film Board’s (NFB) Second World War propaganda films.
Four films will be presented: The War for Men’s Minds; Bombing the Nazis; Women are Warriors; and The Mask of Nippon. Dr. Jeffrey Keschen of the University of Ottawa’s History Department will briefly introduce each film.
The films will be screened in English on Thursday, November 24 at 7 p.m. in the Barney Danson Theatre of the Canadian War Museum. A French screening of these films will also take place on November 24 at 7 p.m, in Ateliers C and D.

Admission to the Museum is free after 4 p.m. on Thursdays, and there is no charge for the screening.
