Adhémar
Adhémar is a starting point for the exploration of Montreal. A series of maps and a chronological chart help you navigate through space and time; the most important resource of this site is a unique database based on a detailed reconstitution of Montreal's urban environment. The first part of the database includes lots, buildings, owners and tenants of the whole town from 1642 to 1704. The second part presents lots and owners for the years 1725, 1765 and 1805 as well as buildings for the years 1725 and 1805. Adhémar allows you to list the lots owned or rented by an individual, to establish the chain of titles of a particular lot or to analyse diverse elements of the urban environment.

THESIS:

1755- The French and Indian War Homepage
"This site is dedicated to the French Soldiers who came to New France between 1755 and 1760 to fight in the French and Indian War. This conflict was fought, for the most part, in the Lake George, Lake Champlain region of New York, at Quebec City, and Montreal. While the Canadian Troops and the regiment of La Marine participated in this conflict, I have centered my research on the French Regulars in the regiments of Languedoc, La Reine, Guyenne, Bearn, Royal Roussillon, La Sarre, and Berry. The regiments of Bourgone and Artois are also covered in small details."
