Canadian Museum of Civilization wins two regional tourism awards
Gatineau, Quebec, April 20, 2004 - The Outaouais Tourism Association has presented two awards of excellence this year to the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the largest and most visited in the country. The Gatineau museum received the top prize for a public sector organization in the tourism industry, as well as the award for international marketing.
Dr. Victor Rabinovitch, President of the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation, commented on receiving the awards, saying: "On behalf of everyone who works at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, I want to thank our tourism partners in the Outaouais region for this distinction. The Museum's reputation for excellence and success comes from the hard work and inspiration, day after day, of our talented staff. Awards such as this are a recognition for our people."
